Philosophy
1. You are a long-term asset.TSI’s core philosophy is based on developing long-term partnerships with clients who have similar value systems to our own. We’ve done some research on this, and realised that our preference is David Maister’s ‘relationship approach’ , whereby both service provider and client invest in the relationship in order to obtain long-term, future benefits.
2. You are always in the know. In your interactions with TSI, you’ll recognise that a culture of ‘knowledge sharing’ defines us. Internally, we hold bi-weekly workshop sessions in which our technical team members put their heads together to generate new IT solutions; externally, clients use our job-tracking system to examine how specific IT challenges are being met.
3. You are well-advised.Both inside and outside the company, TSI is constantly evaluating new and diverse technologies to see how and where they can be put to work. In this, we’re highly objective. For instance, we’re in neither the Microsoft nor the Linux ‘camps’, but we’re skilled in both platforms to provide the most effective solutions.
4. You are in expert hands.
TSI follows a systematic and methodical approach to solving problems, rooted largely in the fact that a number of us have strong engineering backgrounds. As a result, if there’s nothing ready-made to meet the need, we can build it ourselves. Our e-Box and LabInfo systems are examples of this ability.
