e-Box is a product and service in one.  To illustrate, it’s a fully managed and supported Internet and e-mail service, delivered via an e-Box server located on your premises.  The e-Box includes an Internet firewall, an e-mail server, antivirus protection and other optional communication services like faxing and data backup.

Accessible by everyone on a single network, the e-Box is ideal for small- to medium-sized businesses and is TSI’s simple, smart and secure solution for connecting your business with the world.  Its Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution even allows employees to work remotely, by providing online access to your applications, data and network resources at any time, from anywhere in the world.

With an e-Box in place, your valuable business data can be backed up automatically over the Internet and stored remotely.  There is an off-site backup facility to ensure that your network’s important data is copied and saved, and you can have a mirrored server hosted at TSI in case of catastrophic hardware failure or loss.

Online protection

The e-Box is the interface between your network and the Internet. Built-in virus protection ensures that all e-mail entering the e-Box system is filtered.  Any e-mail containing viruses or other harmful content is trapped and a built-in network firewall ensures that only authorised traffic can enter and leave your network.  Most problems are quickly solved with online remote support from TSI.

Tried and tested

The e-Box is based on tried-and-tested technology as part of a solid and proven platform that is more than 10 years in the making.  What’s more, the e-Box undergoes continual research and development so as to keep up with new technologies such as high-speed wireless networking and enhanced security practices.

You pay a monthly rental fee for the e-Box service, and there’s no lock-in or lengthy contract.  In fact, TSI requires only one month’s notice if you’re unhappy with the e-Box service.  In addition, we undertake to maintain it and will replace it at no charge if it fails for any reason other than external influences.

The e-Box works with a variety of connection types, including recently available new technologies.  In this regard, TSI will use the best available service in your area.  If you’re already using traditional backup methods (like tape or CD), these can be easily and effectively supplemented by the e-Box backup service.
