Take anti-spam measures

spamA ‘spam’ e-mail is an unsolicited message, usually sent to many people at one time. It consumes time, energy, productivity, bandwidth and therefore money – not to mention the fact that it usually occurs in enormous and frustrating volumes and can be both offensive and malicious.

We’ve experienced spam ourselves, at TSI, which is why we’ve developed our own set of anti-spam measures, called SpamSpear. This transparent and affordable product has successfully protected clients’ e-mail and our own, and we're confident that it can help your company to reduce unwanted spam traffic.

SpamSpear as your filter

All e-mail destined for your company is channeled via SpamSpear, which uses a variety of techniques to establish whether an e-mail is legitimate or spam. Then, legitimate e-mail is forwarded to your company’s server while spam e-mail is rejected with a message to the sender.

In a similar manner, e-mails can be scanned for malicious content (like viruses or spyware) and forwarded, quarantined or rejected as appropriate.

SpamSpear is continually updated to take advantage of the latest spam-filtering and antivirus tools, and to ensure that legitimate e-mail senders are able to reach you, despite the possibility of having been bounced due to a ‘false positive’.

Less risk, more time

SpamSpear can significantly increase your company’s productivity, and save your network and Internet bandwidth. What’s more, it can protect your network from threats delivered via spam and, using optional virus scanning, stop infected e-mail before it reaches your network.

In addition, lower server loads as a result of SpamSpear mean that both your server and your IT department can focus on more important things, while you save the money that you previously spent on having your team update spam rules, undergo user training and monitor system logs.
